Note to Clif Schneider - Cape Vincent Town Council - Bob Brown - Cape Vincent Planning Board - i.e Wind Turbine Visual Impacts

From your new CV zoning regulations referring to  industrial wind turbines:

No lettering, company insignia, advertising, or graphics shall be on any part of the tower, hub, or blades.

And this is for what zoning or visual impact goal????  I guess it is so the viewer's eye enjoying the beautiful  Cape Vincent scenic views  won't in any way be distracted by the advertising on the 500 ft. towers, with bright flashing lights, and with spinning rotors bigger than a football field?

Good call!!!   There is nothing I hate worse than advertising distracting from the scenic beauty of our town and region.

Please note the picture I  have included for reference.

Now I see the wisdom of prohibiting advertising or signs on industrial
wind turbines in CV!!!   Look how it has spoiled this view.  This
would be an incredible view if it wasn't for those damn Canadian Hydro
logo's on those wind turbines!!! The Clayton Town Board should certainly
support the wisdom of this clause in your wind zoning to the NYPSC!
