Recently I have noticed a number of comments on the blogs saying
that attorney Paul Curtin who advises the town on zoning and Art X is being
paid by the BP intervenor funds, not by town funds.
They leave the impression that this has always been the
case. However, Paul Curtin was hired by
the town well before any intervenor funds were distributed. And even now it is not clear whether he has
used any of those funds at this point or not.
And based on the solar zoning fiasco created by a law he as an "expert" apparently advised on, I'm not sure we should be paying him anything.
