Last Nov. Paul Aubertine ( the son of former NYS Sen. Darrel Aubertine, who is now the NYS Ag. Commissioner ) ran against Michelle Oswald for the Cape Vincent town board seat vacated by pro wind Mikey Orvis.
Wiley at the JLL blog says this about Aubertine:
"Last year during the 2012 campaign to replace a Town of Cape Vincent town councilman who had resigned, a Democrat endorsed candidate made the claim that "industrial wind was behind us' and he would sit on the board and heal the community. That could be further from the truth.
The Democrat candidate's only credentials for being a town council member seems to be that he is the son of a pro wind, pro British Petroleum, pro loss of home municipal rule former State Assemblyman, Senator and now New York State Commissioner of Agriculture."
OK I could generally agree with that.
But what Wiley is not telling you and fails to explain is why some on our current town board initially wanted to appoint the young Aubertine to the town board "to be fair." I have this info from a very credible source! And my source is NOT Mrs. Oswald. Apparently they weren't all that happy with Michelle Oswald's public anti - wind stance.
And people wonder why I question their judgment?????
