No plates, no names on there uniforms, no ID of any kind, dark sun glasses and lots of scary weapons and it is one of the most remote places in the US, so there aren't any eyes to see what they do if they think you are a threat, keeping in mind the base edge has signs that say "the use of armed force justified!" Loving referred to by Area 51 enthusiasts as the " The Camo Dudes". Sorry, they forced me at gun point to turn over all my secret WPEG information. Damn!!! We have been checked out by low helicopters too (no joke)! Wake up in your sleeping bag at 2 AM because you thought you heard something outside and there could be a security truck sitting there with no lights on watching you through night vision goggles. Very interesting place to visit if you want to experience first hand how serious the govt is about protecting our national secrets! You know.... actual real secrets!!!
We are camped a good 2 miles from the base perimeter on public land and they still come out a 60 mile round trip drive numerous times 24/7 to check on us. And we are not on the base. We are camped on public land. They know you are there because all the dirt back roads for miles around have magnetic sensors. Gee that WPEG information must be really secret to go to all that effort!!!!!
Because people claim to see aliens and UFO's here that are kept secretly at Area 51.I have
seen a few range cattle, and a lot of spectacular military aircraft flying but no aliens or UFO's.
Not a lot of people around, so WPEG's secrets are now very safe hear!

OK now to the serious part.
Someone said that I had released the names of former WPEG attorneys as if this is some monumental leak of top secret confidential information. One commenter said "loose lips sink ships." Like I was some how giving out top secret WPEG information that could ruin reputations, or bring retribution on the lawyers or their firms or someone else. So this remined me of our trips to the edge of Area 51 in Nevada where they are REAL serious about keeping secret information secret to which I can attest first hand.
Let me show you how absurd these blog commenter claims are.
First there are things that can be learned from those law suits that can be applied today. If everybody is so concerned about lawyers names why is the town board and zoning committee advertising the names of the new Cape Vincent zoning attorney, and then people spreading it all over at least one blog. That blog should be immediately reprimanded. Wouldn’t the same apply to this C zoning attorney? I mean come on, he is advising the town to do a setback law that is so restrictive it will be a “defacto ban” on wind turbines. In that case shouldn’t we be protecting his name and the names on the town board who will have to pass it, or the names on both zoning and comp plan committees. Somebody may not like the decisions they make.
But about the previous WPEG lawyers. Our first lawyer’s name was all over the papers, and not just locally when she was advising us back in the early controversial days of the wind battle. I guess you better go and criticize the WDT and other papers and TV for and Internet for releasing her name, and including some national anti wind and other Websites. She was occasionally on TV as a spoke person for our cause. She spoke before a packed crowd at the first CV wind law hearing in 2006. Her name is on documents for defending WPEG in court and before the CV ZBA. The same would apply for the other WPEG lawyers. It is all public record, or in public media archives etc that anybody can look at any time. Once it’s out there then it can be all over the Internet as well for anybody with access to a computer.
. THERE IS NO SECRET. Maybe some people accusing me of releasing these supposed “confidential” attorney names haven’t noticed that a lot of people read the paper and watch TV these days, or go to the Internet for information. Maybe you ought to get up to speed with the real world of information
In addition attorneys know full that when they take on a client that they may be interviewed or have to stand up in a public court, and their names will go on court documents or be in a record of a town etc, or be on a public meeting video record if they speak on behalf of a client. They know they may become the spokesperson in the paper or on TV for the legal matters of a group.
So where is this big confidentiality issue???? THERE IS NONE!!! That accusation is nothing more than one more absurd lie and marginalization to distort your thinking. Do you have a clue that for a few bucks anybody can go on the Internet and you can do a background check on anybody. You can do almost the same for free with Google. If you opened your mouth somewhere, wrote something, signed something, joined a group etc etc, your name is out there. You can go to court record sites and do the same thing. I volunteer in a sheriff’s dept. and work with detectives and CSI people and although I am not allowed to see it, or have access to it, the information on people is comprehensive, especially if you have broken the law, and it is a national data base. That isn’t a secret either. All you have to do is watch any cop show or movie to figure that out! How do you think we find people when they go missing? We can use cell phone info to find people and many cell phones have GPS tracking capabilities…so shut off all your cell phones too!!!! In addition there are cameras everywhere these days.
Of course with some of these blog attackers running around in abject panic and fear behind an anonymous label I guess I can understand why they could not grasp this issue.
So shut off your TV. Shut down your computer and Internet. Don’t look at another paper or magazine. Shut off your cell phones. Put a bag over your head. Don’t go to or speak at a town meeting or be seen on a public record video. Never sign you name to anything, never use a credit card or check. Never sign for a loan for anything. Don’t apply for a passport, or go through an airport security check point. Just crawl inside your box and stay there!!! Oh and by the way…if you actually think blogs are truly anonymous…THINK AGAIN!!!!
And these people who can’t figure out this wide spread, well understood, blatantly obvious, concept, of modern information and that want you to live in an information void, that can’t even be achieved are the ones calling some of us irrational, and saying we have to trust them and their judgment. How are we supposed to trust your judgment if you don’t have a basic grasp on information, how to get it, and how to apply it coherently. Are you going to study a court case for research and the minute you see the attorney name on a court petition you are going to throw away the document and not tell anyone about it?
