Set Backs??? Good Luck!!!!

Local zoning setbacks don't even come close to mitigating the visual issue with industrial wind turbines.  The picture below is taken from the scenic overlook at Wescott's Beach State Park looking out over Eastern Lake Ontario. 





You can clearly see the Wolfe Island wind turbines approximately 25 miles away.  Now add the turbines from Galloo Is. and the proposals for wind turbines in the Lake and on land  and then you have the complete environmental transformation of our region from one of spectacular beauty to a sprawling  industrial wind disaster.

So how do you stop it? Well for one you take a stand against it, and don't pass wind laws that appease this nonsense by allowing it in any form!.

    You are an Arizona blog making like a NNY expert. And, it shows.
    Wrong information. Wrong location. And you are in search and rescue?

    You missed the mark by nearly five miles.

    It is Wescott Beach, not Wescott's.

    Besides, at Wescott beach, you can't even see Wolfe Island because Pt. Peninsula blocks the view.
