BP to File Art X Pre-application Scoping Document

According to the Watertown Daily Times on page B6 BP intends to file their Art X Scoping Statement on March 29.

Wait a minute...this can't be real. I definitely remember numerous blog commenter saying it was all a bluff by BP and it would never go this far...Oh Well!!!  Time to wake up!
AND

Is that the end of the PIP process.? Has it been accepted and approved by the NY PSC???  If that is the case then what does that tell you about the Art X process and our board willingness to follow it as a fair process!!!!

And what about all those letters to the NY PSC telling the PSC how BP's PIP was a sham?  Geee didn't just ignore those did they????    No really?????  You mean it was  "Thanks for all your input, but we are screwing you anyhow!"

Geee do ya think  that is how the Art siting hearings will go too!!!

  1. Does anyone have information on the report of a fire at the former Cape Auto, by the blog JLL?

The report was posted late last night but retracted by morning. Was this a hoax? No other news source has reported a fire.

    In the dark.

  2. Well, Pundt, looks like your rumor mill had it all wrong.

The recent fire at the former Cape Auto, has shot your scenario full of holes.

Unverified witness at the scene reported seeing a young woman fleeing the scene carrying a flimsy negligee, what appeared to be a collapsible pole, and an old typewriter.

Thanks to the quick work of the Cape Eagles, a lot of evidence was saved, including in one room, a card table, several easy chairs, some liquor bottles, and an audio cd player. It was not substantiated whether this was just the break room for the former employees, but speculations are flying that this may well have been the site of the clandestine meetings of the advisory committee, now being dubbed ART.X-gate. Theories abound, but, the most popular is that this fire was intentionally set to cover up the evidence.

    Juicy, eh?

Such intrique! Was a former town supervisor(with experience in such activities) involved in these secret meetings, and what evidence was so critical as to require such dire undertakings to remove all trace, and stifle any media coverage.

You better get some better sources, looks like they really missed the ball on this one. Must have been just a family get-together on Stony Point. Meanwhile the real nefarious letterwriters were collaborating right under the village mayors nose.

  3. Well,Art BP has submitted its PSS. A lot of concern over incorrect maps, lack of depth, etc. etc. etc. The push is on for everyone to submit comments so the PSC will know what the public thinks. Here's the official position of the PSC on community feedback.

"If there are complaints, BP would be expected to resolve these disagreements but not even the hearing examiner, who would mediate issues relating to the PSS, will be able to force the wind developer to identify additional potential wind farm impacts in its PSS based on community feedback."

    So much for public input!

  4. At least the PSC will accept all comments from the public, although they state they will ignore them. The blog JLL no longer allows for any comments or dialogue, Pandora's will only post comments that are supportive of the towns actions, and blocks any dialogue that isn't in line with her position, or questions the official town policy.

I guess the bloggers lawsuit has taken the sails out from under freedom of expression in Cape Vincent. Don't say anything that is insulting , contrary to officialdom, or is debative in any way. Even Darrell Aubertine once stated that healthy discourse is good for government. The blogs have become mouthpieces for their own propaganda, afraid of any healthy differences of opinion.
