A quote from Rick Wiley's Cape Vincent JLL blog regarding the state Art. 10 power plant siting process that removed your community's home rule.
"JLL Comment: The Town of Somerset and the fierce opposition to the sacrifice of Western Lake Ontario Shores have taken on Article 10 by entering hundreds of comments and filed documents into the public record. They have voiced their objections to the project as well as to the law itself.
It is NOT fierce opposition by participating, enabling, and validating a corporate lobbyist and government designed script that already removed your rights and tightly defines where, when, and how you can object!
That's right...we have to keep our crayons within the lines so we can get our gold star on our forehead like we did in kindergarten!!!!

Imagine if if the drafters of the Declaration of Independence decided...hey boys lets not sign this Declaration...that will really show the King.

ReplyDeleteI didn't write the wind law in Cape Vincent that actually allows wind development in some from.
I'm not the one who then screwed up the CV zoning law so bad that the resulting fiasco was splashed all across the front page of the WDT and the town lawyer had to try to clean up the mess, and the supervisor had to take down his illegal solar panels.
I'm not the one who thinks the Art 10 process is fair when it takes your home rule rights away and is a rigged system that enables wind developers to fast track their wind projects and waive you local laws.
I didn't write a wind law that is ALREADY been by the half preempted by the state.
I am not the one that after BP left was saying wind is dead, and we defeated BP so seasonal voters probably went back to voting in their home districts opening the door for pro wind to get back in power.
So any condition you are dealing with is of your own doing!
Real convenient for you to blame someone else and not take any accountability and call names from behind a curtain. THAT is why you are a loser. you have NO spine..that is what YOU have to live with and thank God I don't.
And you think I am some kind of threat and you might get your little feelers hurt if I say something to you.

In fact if it wasn't for my tolerance of people like you to say nasty things and then hide...you would be a total nobody with no accountability.
You are your own worst enemy and exactly what wind developers know how to manipulate through fear so you pose absolutely no threat to them!
