The Production Tax Credit - Here We Go Again.

What a hoot...the father of the original Production Tax Credit in 1992 is a Republican!!!  And former NY Gov. Pataki also a Rep. opened the door to wind developers in NY with the NYS Renewable Portfolio Standard which requires certain amounts or renewable energy in NY.

Gee maybe he can get together with Cape Vincent Rep. councilman John Byrne who announced lately that he isn't against industrial wind energy, and Urban Hirschey who publicly stated on TV in 2011 he isn't against wind either.

 Then they can get together with the CV town board who thinks Art 10 that took our home rule rights away in regards to siting wind energy is just so wonderful and fair and they can all get together and  have a wind energy and PTC celebration party!

And this Republican bunch on our town board is running around telling the State PSC what a "welcome relief" it is to have Art 10 and how fair it is.

What ever happened to those Republicans we were told were against big govt, and these tax credits supporting renewable energy scams like wind?
